Several packages are offered to keep your costs down and your special day perfect, and of course you can add your own touches.The average American wedding costs almost $29,000, according to The Wedding Report, a market research publication. $29,000! And The Knot concurs. So you can see what a value our packages are, which also include your honeymoon stay! To keep our costs down, the packages cannot be deleted from, but you can add to them.

Dripping Springs Resort invites you to stay here by the river for your honeymoon, in a romantic riverside room with private hot tubs and whimsical touches. Here you can start your new life together surrounded by the most beautiful scenery nature has to offer.

We can also provide lodging for up to 30 of your closest friends and family in streamside rooms and family cabins, all with private hot tubs. Next morning brunches for the wedding party are our specialty. This is additional of course.

We have a non denominational celebrant on site all the time, to do your vows, special ceremonies, baby blessings, commitment ceremonies, and vow renewals. My name is Janie Robertson, I am a certified officiant, and I have done weddings on our property for several years, and can design just the right vows for the two of you.

All our weddings are held in a lovely outdoor setting, so please plan for the weather. We are open from May till October for ceremonies most years.

What you will need in Colorado

Colorado recognizes both ceremonial and common law marriages.

The marriage ceremony may be performed by

a judge
a retired judge
a magistrate
any public official authorized to perform marriages
any person recognized as authorized to perform marriages by
- any religious denomination
- any Indian nation
- any Indian tribe

Note: Friends or relatives may only perform the ceremony if they are in the list above.

If one or both parties are under age 18, contact a county clerk and recorder’s office for details on consent you must have. Once you have the proper consent, you will need to follow the same directions as when both parties are over age 18.

Marriage licenses in Colorado are available at various locations. The small fee must be paid in cash, and the license is valid for 30 days. Both parties need to be be present and must sign at the time of filing for a marriage license, and must present valid ID and proof of age.

If either party is divorced, the county will require the date and place of the divorce. The divorce MUST BE FINAL. Widows or widowers need to supply the date and place of death of their former spouse.

The legal age without parental consent is 18 for both persons. For marriages of age 16-17, consent of BOTH parents or parent having legal custody (or guardian or judicial approval) is required.

Blood tests are not required in the state of Colorado.

The license must be used within 30 days of the date of issue, and used only in the State of Colorado. License must be recorded within 60 days of marriage date or a fine will be imposed when recorded.

It is best to obtain a copy of your marriage license (or your marriage license application,) to carry with you as proof of marriage for changing your name on your State ID, Driver's License, vehicle registration, insurance documents, and Social Security card. It is best to get your driver's license updated first, as many offices will require documentation and a state ID with your new name before processing a change request.

Officiant /Celebrant :
Only our Wedding Packages include my fees as an Officiant.

I am a non-denoinational celebrant and can do your wedding vows for you at a competitive fee, on the property or at another site.. Together we can design the most beautiful and meaningful wedding vows , tailored just for the two of you. It will be a spiritual and touching ceremony and you may have input into the words of the service.
Also, Wedding Vow Renewals, Commitment Ceremonies, Baby Blessings and other ceremonies are available, Please just ask.

                        Dripping Springs Honeymoon Packages

If you are having your wedding elsewhere, but spending your honeymoon with us, and desire more than lodging please see our Specials and Packages pages. You will find several options there! This is a favorite spot for honeymooners because of the hottubs and the privacy.

Site Fees

For wedding or other ceremonies not included in packages, the fee for a space only for 2 hours includes:

Location and chairs for up to 10 guests for 2 hours   $ 250

Location and chairs for  up to 30 guests for 2 hours   $ 395

Extra time    $ 100  per hour

Incudes 30 minutes set up time before the event.

We only offer this to groups who are staying with us, to minimize the impact to our other lodging guests. Weddings and reception groups must be quiet and courteous to all the guests on the property.

Receptions can be held on our property after your wedding if you are having a church wedding.

We can provide a beautiful streamside location with everything you need for your reception,including tent and portapoty . We also provide tables, and chairs and waste cans. Electric connection is nearby. The site will be ready for the caterer or you to bring in the food. Set up and removal is included.

Reception Space for 4 hours with above included for up to 20 people.$ 1095

Reception Space for 4 hours with above included for up to 40 people $1,550

Other arrangements can also be made, just ask.

Parking is limited and arragements may have to be made to bring people in from a central parking area downtown.

We  schedule our events to start between 10 am to 4 pm to avoid any invonvenience to our lodging guests. All Events must end by 9.00 pm except by special permit.

Light food for wedding or small receptions can be arranged thru our B&B .

To reseve a ceremony site a contract must be made and a deposit received. A 10 % gratuity will be added to parties over 10 people. Please call us for this information, we will be happy to arrange a site tour for you anytime.

We have cabins/condos and rooms for the guests of the wedding couple. Minimum stays may apply.
